The Maybach 62 S entered its final generation with an even more powerful interpretation of Maybach’s flagship limousine, combining extraordinary size with a cabin focused heavily on rear-passenger comfort. Its imposing proportions, four-seat configuration and richly appointed interior gave it an unmistakable ultra-luxury presence, while the S designation added a stronger performance character. Beneath the formal exterior, a front-mounted twin-turbocharged V12 and rear-wheel-drive layout provided effortless power for this substantial limousine.
The 2010–2013 Maybach 62 S uses a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 producing 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 4.9 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 5.1 seconds. Top speed reaches 155 mph, giving the 62 S an impressive combination of limousine comfort, immense power and high-speed performance.
