The 9ff GT9 Clubsport takes the extreme engineering of the GT9 platform in a more track-focused direction. Developed with circuit performance in mind, it features a lightweight carbon-fibre body, a custom steel tubular chassis and an integrated roll cage. Its widened wheel arches, prominent aerodynamic components and competition-oriented details distinguish it from the standard GT9. The rear-mid-engine layout and rear-wheel-drive configuration maintain a focused performance setup, while its two-seat cockpit reflects its emphasis on driving rather than everyday comfort.
Introduced in 2011, the GT9 Clubsport uses a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre flat-six engine producing 740 hp at 6,800 rpm and 671 lb-ft of torque at 2,950 rpm. A six-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels. Its claimed 0–62 mph acceleration time of 3.6 seconds and 226 mph top speed demonstrate its considerable performance potential. With a curb weight of 2,734 pounds, the Clubsport combines substantial power with a lightweight construction developed for demanding driving conditions.
