The Wiesmann GT MF5 blends hand-built exclusivity with the performance of a modern BMW M powertrain. Its long bonnet accommodates a front-mid-mounted V8, while the rear-wheel-drive layout and near-classic coupe proportions preserve the character of a traditional grand tourer. Beneath the distinctive bodywork, the twin-turbocharged engine delivers a broad spread of torque, giving the car effortless acceleration without sacrificing the involvement expected from a specialist sports-car manufacturer.
For the 2011–2014 model, Wiesmann used BMW’s 4.4-litre S63B44 V8, producing 547 hp and 502 lb·ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels, helping the two-seat coupe reach 60 mph in 3.8 seconds and 62 mph in 3.9 seconds. Its 193 mph top speed places this rare German-built GT firmly in supercar territory.
