The Wiesmann GT MF4-S is a hand-built German sports coupe that pairs classic proportions with a high-revving BMW M engine. Its 4.0-litre naturally aspirated S65B40 V8 develops 414 hp at 8,300 rpm, giving the car a character quite different from the turbocharged standard MF4. Mounted behind the front axle, the engine helps preserve a balanced front-mid-engine layout, while rear-wheel drive keeps the experience focused on traditional sports-car dynamics.
Across the 2011–2014 production period, the MF4-S offered a choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Its aluminium monocoque chassis, double-wishbone suspension and compact two-seat cabin reflect Wiesmann’s blend of bespoke construction and purposeful engineering. With 295 lb·ft of torque and a quoted 4.3-second 0–60 mph time, it delivers strong performance without relying on forced induction.
