The Stinger 2.0 T-GDi gave Kia’s ambitious fastback a more accessible entry point without taking away the qualities that made the model unusual. Its long bonnet, low roof and sweeping rear profile created a distinctly sporting silhouette, while the five-seat cabin and large hatch opening kept it useful beyond weekend drives. Underneath that elegant shape was a longitudinal engine and rear-wheel-drive layout, giving this version a more traditional grand-touring character than many cars from Kia’s mainstream range.
The 2018–2026 Stinger 2.0 T-GDi is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder producing 244 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic sends power to the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 5.8 seconds and top speed reaching 149 mph. That combination gives the smaller-engined Stinger enough pace to complement its low-slung design while retaining the relaxed usability of a five-seat fastback.
