The Iso Fidia S4 350 brought genuine sports-car thinking into the luxury-sedan class. Its four-door body offered a more practical alternative to Iso’s dramatic two-seat GTs, yet the mechanical package remained firmly performance-minded. Italian design gave the Fidia a distinctive presence, while a Chevrolet V8 supplied the kind of effortless power more commonly associated with American muscle cars. That unusual combination made the Fidia an especially interesting executive car, blending room for five with the engineering character of a high-performance grand tourer.
The 1967–1973 Fidia S4 350 uses a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter Chevrolet 327 V8 producing 350 hp and 361 lb-ft of torque. A four-speed manual transmission drives the rear wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 6.3 seconds and top speed reaching 142 mph. The front-engine layout and De Dion rear suspension complete a chassis designed to give this large sedan a distinctly sporting character.
