The Triumph TR6 2.5 PI combines traditional British roadster proportions with a fuel-injected six-cylinder powertrain. Its long bonnet, broad front grille and compact two-seat cockpit create a purposeful appearance, while the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout preserves a familiar sports-car arrangement. A semi-trailing-arm rear suspension gives this version a distinct chassis specification, complementing its classic open-top character.
Produced from 1973–1975, the TR6 2.5 PI uses a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated inline-six gasoline engine with an OHV valvetrain and fuel injection. It produces 125 hp at 5,000 rpm and 140 lb-ft of torque at 3,000 rpm, paired with a four-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. AutoSpecsHub lists a 0–60 mph time of 9.2 seconds, a 113 mph top speed and 5.8 cubic feet of luggage capacity, with seating for two.
