The Venturi 400 GT was developed as a road-going expression of the French marque’s motorsport ambitions. Its wide, low-slung body surrounds a longitudinally mounted V6 positioned behind the cockpit, giving the two-seat coupe a distinctly purposeful stance. Twin Garrett turbochargers and an intercooler help extract substantial output from the compact engine, while a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive keep the driving experience direct. Its double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear arrangement add to a chassis designed for serious performance.
Built from 1995–1997, the 400 GT uses a 2.975-litre PRV-derived V6 producing 395 hp and 384 lb·ft of torque. The twin-turbo engine delivers its peak power at 6,000 rpm, helping the 2,425-pound coupe reach 62 mph in a claimed 4.5 seconds. With a top speed of 180 mph, it remains a rare example of French supercar engineering from the 1990s.
