The Rolls-Royce Touring Limousine took the Silver Spur’s traditional luxury formula and extended it into a more spacious, chauffeur-focused experience. Its exceptionally long body, formal roofline, and upright grille gave it a commanding presence, while the enlarged passenger compartment placed greater emphasis on rear-seat comfort and privacy. Built for distinguished travel rather than everyday practicality, this rare limousine carried the marque’s familiar craftsmanship into a vehicle designed to make every journey feel unhurried and exclusive.
For 1997–1998, the Touring Limousine used a turbocharged 6.8-litre V8 producing 296 hp and 371 lb-ft of torque. A four-speed automatic transmission sent power to the rear wheels, providing smooth progress despite its substantial size. With seating for seven, it offered an unusually accommodating interior for formal occasions, private transport, and long-distance journeys where passenger space mattered as much as refinement.
