The Q50 3.5 V6 Hybrid AWD takes Infiniti’s performance-sedan formula in a more unusual direction, pairing a naturally aspirated V6 with electric assistance and all-wheel drive. Instead of making hybrid technology the defining visual or driving feature, Infiniti integrated it into a conventional luxury sedan with a restrained design and performance-oriented character. The AWD system adds another layer to the car’s appeal, giving the Q50 a more secure footing while preserving the smooth, responsive feel expected from a V6-powered Infiniti.
Built for the 2013–2018 period, this Q50 combines a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 with a 67-hp electric motor and 1.3-kWh battery. The hybrid system produces 359 hp and 403 lb-ft of combined torque, with a seven-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels. Infiniti’s figures give it a 5.2-second 0–60 mph time and a 155-mph top speed.
