MSRP:$75,000 – $85,000
The TVR Chimaera 450 is a British sports convertible with flowing bodywork, a long bonnet and a low, purposeful stance. Its folding soft top gives the car an open-air character, while the two-seat cabin keeps the experience focused on the driver. A front-mounted V8 sends power to the rear wheels, and double-wishbone suspension at both ends supports its traditional sports-car layout.
For 2001–2004, the Chimaera 450 is listed with a 4.6-litre naturally aspirated V8, OHV valvetrain and multi-point fuel injection. It produces 281 hp at 5,500 rpm and 287 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm, working through a five-speed manual transmission. AutoSpecsHub records a 0–60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a 160 mph top speed. Despite its performance focus, it offers 10.9 cubic feet of luggage space.
