The Actyon Sports 2.0 e-XDi 2WD brought a more contemporary look to SsangYong's pickup range while retaining the straightforward utility expected of a double-cab workhorse. Its rear-wheel-drive layout gives it a simpler configuration than the four-wheel-drive versions, making it well suited to road use and everyday load-carrying duties. A separate cargo bed keeps work equipment apart from the passenger cabin, while the five-seat interior gives it flexibility beyond commercial use.

For 2012–2016, its 1,998 cc turbo-diesel delivers 153 hp and 360 Nm of torque, with peak pulling force available from 1,500 to 2,800 rpm. A six-speed manual gearbox channels power to the rear wheels, and the pickup can reach 107 mph. With a 2,300 kg braked towing limit, it also has the capacity to handle substantial trailers when properly equipped.
