The Agera One:1 was created around a deceptively simple target: make the car’s power output in metric horsepower match its mass in kilograms. That idea shaped almost everything about the car, from its weight-saving carbon-fiber construction to its active aerodynamics and track-focused suspension. Koenigsegg also gave it a striking aerodynamic package with extended venturi tunnels, winglets and an active rear wing, turning the Agera platform into a far more specialized machine. Only seven examples were built, including the factory development car, making the One:1 a particularly significant chapter in Koenigsegg’s evolution.
For 2014–2015, the Agera One:1 uses a 5.1-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 1,341 hp and 1,011 lb-ft of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels, while the 1,360-kg curb weight creates the famous 1:1 power-to-weight concept on E85. Koenigsegg lists a 273-mph top speed and a 1 MW power output, placing the One:1 firmly among the marque’s most extreme road cars.
