The TVR Griffith 500 is a compact British sports convertible shaped around a low-slung body, long bonnet and open two-seat cockpit. Its flowing lines and folding roof give it a purposeful roadster character, while the front-mounted V8 and rear-wheel-drive layout preserve a traditional sports-car formula. Double-wishbone suspension at both ends supports its focused chassis, and its relatively light construction helps define its direct, driver-centred appeal.
Produced from 1995–1999, the Griffith 500 uses a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 with an OHV valvetrain, 16 valves and multi-point fuel injection. It develops 335 hp at 5,250 rpm and 355 lb-ft of torque at 3,750 rpm, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. AutoSpecsHub lists a 0–60 mph time of 4.4 seconds and a 168 mph top speed. Its two-seat cabin is complemented by 10.9 cubic feet of luggage space.
