The 2004–2006 Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster brought an open-air character to Lamborghini’s flagship V12 supercar. Its removable roof, sharp bodywork and low-slung proportions retained the dramatic design of the Murciélago coupe, while the rear-mid-engine layout and two-seat cabin kept the focus firmly on performance. The Roadster combined Lamborghini’s traditional V12 formula with the added appeal of open-top driving, creating a more distinctive interpretation of the marque’s flagship supercar.
The 2004–2006 Murciélago Roadster uses a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V12 producing 572 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed transmission sends power to all four wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 3.7 seconds and top speed reaching 199 mph. Its combination of V12 power, all-wheel drive and rear-mid-engine layout gave the Murciélago Roadster a strong performance foundation.
