The 2007–2011 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 Roadster brought more power and sharper performance to Lamborghini’s flagship open-top V12. Its dramatic roadster body, removable soft top and aggressive styling retained the unmistakable character of the Murciélago, while the rear-mid-engine layout and all-wheel-drive system kept the focus firmly on performance. The LP 640 Roadster combined Lamborghini’s traditional V12 formula with open-air driving and a more powerful engine, making it a distinctive evolution of the Murciélago range.
The 2007–2011 Murciélago LP 640 Roadster uses a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 producing 631 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed transmission sends power to all four wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 3.3 seconds and top speed reaching 205 mph. Its combination of V12 power, all-wheel drive and rear-mid-engine layout gave the LP 640 Roadster a strong performance foundation.
