The 1993–1998 Alfa Romeo 164 Super V6 represents the later evolution of Alfa Romeo's executive sedan, powered by a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V6 producing 178 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. The front-wheel-drive sedan uses a five-speed manual transmission, with a 143 mph top speed and approximately 7.6 seconds from 0–60 mph. Its SOHC 12-valve V6 uses multi-point fuel injection and a transverse front-engine layout, giving the Super V6 a smooth and characterful power delivery.
