The 1990–1993 Alfa Romeo 164 3.0 V6 QV brought a more sporting edge to Alfa Romeo's executive-sedan range, pairing a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V6 with front-wheel drive and a five-speed manual transmission. Its 12-valve V6 develops 197 hp and 202 lb-ft of torque, allowing the four-door sedan to reach 147 mph and accelerate from 0–60 mph in 7.5 seconds. With its transverse front-engine layout and classic Alfa Romeo V6 character, the QV delivers performance that remains distinctive among early-1990s executive cars.
