The 1989–1990 Alfa Romeo 164 Super V6 paired Alfa Romeo's executive-sedan character with the smooth delivery of a naturally aspirated 3.0-liter V6. Producing 181 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque, the transverse V6 sends power through a five-speed manual transmission to the front wheels. With a 141 mph top speed and a claimed 7.6-second 0–60 mph time, the Super V6 offered strong performance for its era while retaining the refined character expected from a larger four-door Alfa Romeo.
