The Venturi 300 Atlantique brought a more modern body and refined grand-touring character to the French manufacturer's mid-engined sports-car range. Its polyester-resin bodywork, aluminium doors and engine cover, and extended chassis helped create a distinctive balance of lightness and road presence. Beneath the rear deck sits a longitudinally mounted PRV-derived V6, strengthened by a Garrett turbocharger and air-to-air intercooler. A five-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheels, while the double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear arrangement provide a purposeful mechanical foundation.
The 1995–1998 model uses a 2.975-litre, 12-valve V6 producing 278 hp and 310 lb·ft of torque. Maximum power arrives at 5,300 rpm, while peak torque is available from just 2,500 rpm. With a listed weight of 2,756 pounds, the coupe reaches 62 mph in 5.2 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 173 mph.
