The Venturi Atlantique 300 Bi-Turbo was the final and most powerful evolution of the Atlantique road car, using a revised V6 with two turbochargers instead of the earlier single-turbo setup. Its longitudinal rear-mid-engine layout, five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive preserve the model’s traditional sports-car architecture, while the 24-valve cylinder heads and intercooling reflect a more developed approach to extracting performance. The result is a rare French-built coupe with a distinctive blend of compact dimensions and serious high-speed ability.
Introduced in 1998, the Bi-Turbo uses a 2.946-litre V6 producing 306 hp and 291 lb·ft of torque. Peak power arrives at 6,200 rpm, with maximum torque available from 3,800 rpm. Venturi quoted a 275 km/h (171 mph) maximum speed and a 4.7-second 0–62 mph time, making this twin-turbo Atlantique a notably capable grand touring machine.
