The Ultima Evolution Convertible Supercharged takes the British marque’s lightweight, mid-engined formula to an extreme, combining an open-roof body with the power of a heavily boosted Chevrolet V8. Its low, wide stance, tubular spaceframe chassis and composite bodywork reflect a design shaped by performance priorities rather than everyday comfort. The removable roof section gives it an open-air character, while the rear-mid-engine layout and rear-wheel drive preserve the focused handling philosophy shared across the Evolution range.
Its supercharged 6.8-litre V8 produces 1,020 hp at the top of the range, accompanied by 920 lb·ft of torque. A six-speed manual transaxle sends power to the rear wheels, enabling a claimed 2.3-second sprint to 60 mph and a 240 mph top speed. Introduced in 2015, this exceptionally powerful Targa-style version combines extreme acceleration with the added drama of open-roof driving.
