2013–2015 Aston Martin V8 Vantage S SP10 Roadster Specs & Performance

The V8 Vantage S SP10 Roadster was Aston Martin’s tribute to the racing success of its V8 Vantage GT4, bringing a distinctly competition-inspired edge to an open-top road car. Built for 2013–2015, it combined the 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 with rear-wheel drive and, unusually for the Vantage S, a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. With 430 hp, 361 lb-ft of torque, a 189 mph top speed and a 4.5-second 0–62 mph time, the SP10 had the pace to match its motorsport-inspired appearance.

Its character came from the details rather than simply greater output. The SP10 featured a carbon-fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, wider tires, powerful two-piece front brakes and distinctive 19-inch diamond-turned wheels. Double-wishbone suspension at both ends preserved the Vantage’s balanced handling, while the Roadster’s soft-top cabin made the high-revving V8 and exhaust note central to the experience. Inside, black leather, Alcantara and contrasting silver stitching reinforced its sporting purpose. The result was a rare special edition that connected Aston Martin’s road-car craftsmanship with the Nürburgring-bred character of its GT4 racing program.
