2007–2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 Roadste Specs & Performance

The Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400 Roadster was created as a celebration of the marque’s motorsport achievements, translating the atmosphere of endurance racing into a compact open-top sports car. The 2007–2008 edition used a 4.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing 400 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque, sending its power to the rear wheels through a six-speed transmission. A 175 mph top speed and 4.9-second 0–62 mph time gave it serious pace, but the N400’s identity was shaped just as much by its Nürburgring-inspired character, distinctive exterior treatment and sharper chassis setup.

The special edition received several changes that made it more than a cosmetic package. A Sports Pack suspension, lightweight wheels and revised exhaust helped sharpen the driving experience, while carbon-fiber exterior details and unique badging distinguished the N400 from the regular Roadster. Double-wishbone suspension at both ends and ventilated disc brakes provided a solid foundation for spirited driving, while the two-seat cabin retained the craftsmanship expected of Aston Martin. Built in limited numbers, the N400 Roadster combined open-air enjoyment with a stronger motorsport connection, giving the V8 Vantage a particularly focused personality without sacrificing its grand-touring appeal.
