The 2016–2023 Maserati Quattroporte S gives the marque’s large luxury sedan a distinctly sporting personality without losing its sense of occasion. Its long, elegant body and spacious cabin create the presence expected from an executive car, but the low-slung proportions and rear-wheel-drive layout reveal a more enthusiastic side. Rather than being defined purely by comfort, the Quattroporte S is shaped around the idea of covering long distances quickly while retaining the character and exclusivity associated with Maserati.
A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 produces 424 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque, with an eight-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. It can reach 177 mph and accelerate from 0–60 mph in 4.8 seconds, giving the large sedan impressive pace. With seating for five and 18.7 cubic feet of luggage space, it also remains practical enough for everyday use and extended journeys. The combination of strong turbocharged performance, rear-wheel-drive dynamics and unmistakable Italian styling gives the Quattroporte S a compelling grand-touring character.
