The Montego 2.0 D Countryman Wagon was built around practical diesel motoring, combining a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four with 80 hp and 117 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual gearbox sent power to the front wheels, giving the estate a 101 mph top speed and 12.8-second 0–60 mph time.
