The Montego 2.0 DLX, DSLX was aimed at drivers who valued economical long-distance motoring over outright performance. Its 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline-four produced 80 hp and 117 lb-ft, sending power through a five-speed manual transmission to the front wheels.
