The Korando 2.2 e-XDi 220 4WD combines the everyday practicality of a five-door compact SUV with the extra traction of a selectable four-wheel-drive system. Its spacious five-seat cabin and adaptable luggage compartment make it suitable for family journeys, while the part-time 4WD arrangement adds capability when roads become slippery or uneven. MacPherson strut front suspension and multi-link rear suspension provide a modern chassis layout, balancing passenger comfort with the versatility expected from an SUV.
For 2017–2019, the 2.2-litre turbo-diesel produces 176 hp and 295 lb·ft of torque at 1,400 rpm. Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions were offered, working with the part-time four-wheel-drive system. Its 9.6-second 0–60 mph acceleration and 115 mph top speed give it useful road performance, while the flexible luggage space expands from 17.2 to 46.3 ft³ for larger loads.
