The 2000–2003 Lancia Ypsilon 1.2 offered a simple and economical interpretation of Lancia’s compact hatchback formula. Its small three-door body, distinctive Italian styling and front-wheel-drive layout made it well suited to urban driving, while the four-seat cabin provided a practical interior for a small car. The naturally aspirated engine kept the powertrain straightforward, giving the Ypsilon an easygoing character suited to everyday city use.
The 2000–2003 Ypsilon 1.2 uses a naturally aspirated 1.2-liter inline-four producing 59 hp and 77 lb-ft of torque.
