The Lancia Ypsilon 1.3 Multijet 16v 75 continued the second-generation hatchback’s distinctive Italian character while adding an economical turbocharged diesel powertrain. Its compact three-door body and four-seat cabin made it well suited to urban driving, while the front-wheel-drive layout kept the car simple and practical for everyday use. The Ypsilon’s styling gave it a more individual personality than many small hatchbacks of the period, combining city-friendly dimensions with the efficiency expected from a small diesel.
The 2007–2011 Lancia Ypsilon 1.3 Multijet 16v 75 uses a turbocharged 1.2-liter inline-four diesel producing 74 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed transmission, available in manual and automatic form, sends power to the front wheels, with 0–60 mph taking 14.0 seconds and 0–62 mph taking 14.5 seconds. Top speed reaches 103 mph, making it a practical choice for economical everyday motoring.
