The 2004–2009 Honda S 2000 is a rear-wheel-drive roadster powered by a naturally aspirated 2.2-liter inline-four producing 237 hp at 7,800 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 6,800 rpm. Its front-mid-mounted, longitudinal F-series (F22C1) engine uses DOHC, four valves per cylinder and multi-point fuel injection, with power delivered through a 6-speed manual transmission.
