MSRP:$14,000 – $20,000
The 2007 Jeep Wrangler 3.8 introduced the JK-generation Wrangler with a more modern platform while keeping the rugged proportions and traditional off-road character that made the nameplate distinctive. Its compact three-door body, live axles, and part-time four-wheel drive kept the focus firmly on trail capability rather than crossover-style comfort. Under the hood, the V6 provided a straightforward naturally aspirated power delivery, making this Wrangler a clear continuation of Jeep’s classic mechanical approach.
For 2007–2011, the Wrangler 3.8 uses a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 producing 196 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through 4WD, with either a four-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. The Wrangler reaches 112 mph and accelerates from 0–60 mph in 9.3 seconds, while its 20.3 mpg combined economy gives the V6-powered off-roader reasonable everyday usability alongside its rugged hardware.
