The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2.0 brought the new JL generation’s updated powertrain into the more practical five-door Wrangler, combining modern turbocharged performance with the model’s familiar off-road architecture. Its 118.4-inch wheelbase provided useful space for passengers and luggage, while live axles and all-wheel drive retained the rugged mechanical character associated with the Wrangler. The turbocharged four-cylinder also gave the Unlimited a more contemporary power delivery, creating a practical evolution of the iconic off-roader.
For 2018–2026, the Wrangler Unlimited 2.0 uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four gasoline engine producing 268 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission sends power through AWD, helping it reach 110 mph and accelerate from 0–60 mph in 7.4 seconds. Its 26.1 mpg combined economy and 4,107-pound curb weight give the five-door Wrangler a useful balance of performance, practicality, and everyday efficiency.
