MSRP:$17,000 – $25,000
The 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 3.8 brought the classic Wrangler formula into a longer, five-door body without abandoning the rugged mechanical character that defined the nameplate. Its extended 116-inch wheelbase created substantially more room for passengers and cargo, while live axles and part-time four-wheel drive kept its off-road focus intact. The naturally aspirated V6 gave the Unlimited a straightforward, traditional powertrain character, making it a practical evolution of the Wrangler rather than a departure from its roots.
For 2007–2011, the Wrangler Unlimited 3.8 uses a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 producing 196 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered through part-time four-wheel drive, with either a four-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. The SUV reaches a 112 mph top speed and returns 19.9 mpg combined, while its 116-inch wheelbase and five-door layout provide the added practicality that distinguishes the Unlimited from the shorter Wrangler.
