MSRP:$3,000 – $7,000
The Saab 9-3 Coupé 2.0t reflects Saab’s understated Scandinavian design philosophy, combining a compact three-door body with the practicality of a five-seat cabin. Its restrained styling gives it a distinctive identity without relying on exaggerated sporting details, while the front-wheel-drive layout keeps the mechanical package straightforward. Designed to serve as everyday transport with an added measure of turbocharged responsiveness, the coupé balances passenger space and usable performance in a form that remains characteristic of Saab’s late-1990s and early-2000s approach to motoring.
For the 2001–2002 range, power came from a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four producing 148 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. A five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission sent power to the front wheels, giving buyers a choice between greater driver involvement and convenient everyday driving. With a reported 0–60 mph time of 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 134 mph, the 9-3 Coupé 2.0t offered capable performance while retaining the practical character expected of a compact family coupé.
