The Audi TT Roadster 1.8 T 150 brought the original TT’s distinctive design into a lighter, less powerful configuration, relying on turbocharged four-cylinder performance rather than quattro or a larger engine. Covering 2001–2005, its 1.8-liter 20-valve engine produced 148 hp and 155 lb-ft, driving the front wheels through a five-speed manual. With a 133-mph top speed and 8.6-second 0–60 mph time, it was aimed more at accessible open-top enjoyment than outright speed.

Its compact proportions made the Roadster particularly well suited to the TT’s playful character.
